Used Alfa Romeo 4C on Sale in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: A first of-a-kind Alfa Romeo 4C is up for sale in Malaysia. A local A.P. holder has brought it in the country, and has priced it at RM550,000. For this car the original price is 45,000 Pounds Sterling. The translation of 45,000GBP into RM550,000 is based on the fact that exchange rates are at 1 GBP-RM5.80 and the minimum excise duty applicable is 200+%.

There is a scarcity of service centers for Alfa Romeo and there are few shops which are dealing with the company's spare parts. These would also be minimizing and make less money, and after sales it will be problematic due to lack of support centers.

Customers have a chance to get the new Lotus Exige at lower price, which is sold officially in Malaysia. It has the same size like as the 4C and selling price is about RM400,000. A.P. Holder can also provide a Porsche Cayman or a Cayman S to the customers for RM300,000+. The Porsches are more luxurious in nature in comparison to the Lotus. The size of the Alfa is as large as that of the Exige S. Price of the car is much more than any other car launched in Malaysia.

The specifications of the 4C include a 1.75L 4-Cylinder Turbocharged engine producing 240 bhp. It has a six speed Alfa TCT Dual Dry Clutch Transmission, along with a rear wheel drive system. The Launch edition also equipped with carbon Fibre Pack and rear spoiler. It has Alfa Classic Wheels measuring 18'' at the front and 19” at the rear.
