2027 Honda PCX160 launched in Malaysia at RM 12,998

KUALA LUMPUR: After a hiatus of 6 years, the Honda PCX160 has made its grand comeback in Malaysia in an all-new avatar. The latest version features a more elegant and modern style with Honda RoadSync connectivity and other advanced features.

The 2027 Honda PCX160 is priced at RM 12,998 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration). Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

2027 Honda PCX160: Key highlights 

• The new PCX160 gets an enhanced 157-cc engine with eSP+ and PGM-FI systems for smooth and strong performance. The liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine generates a maximum power of 15.8 PS at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm. 
• Paired with a V-Matic automatic transmission and belt drive, the scooter offers a fuel consumption of 2.3 litres per 100 km. 
• The scooter comes with LED headlights, LED tail lights, LED position lights, and LED turn signal lights, offering brighter illumination and a longer lifespan.
• The upgraded Honda PCX160 promises greater comfort with a wider footrest area.

• As for the driving-related information, there is a 5-Inch TFT Meter with Honda RoadSync integration, giving riders access to phone calls, messages, music and navigation. 
• Also part of the kit is a USB Type-C charger, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Honda Smart Key System and Idling Stop System.
• For storage, customers get a 30-litre large underseat compartment that fits an open-face helmet with extra room for gloves and a raincoat, or carries a backpack and groceries.
• The PCX160 rides on a 14-inch front and a 13-inch rear wheel, wrapped with a 110/70 front tyre and 130/70 rear tyre.

• Handling the suspension duties are telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking setup carries single hydraulic discs at both ends, with single-channel ABS on the front wheel.

The all-new 2027 Honda PCX160 is now available at Honda Impian X and authorised Honda dealers in Malaysia in two colour options - Grey and White.
