My day with the Jac T9 revealed a pickup that felt so surprising and thrilling that I remained speechless throughout my first ride. The cabin is designed with practicality on mind— the driver’s seat position gives a commanding view of the road ahead. It came in handy when I was changing lanes on the North-South expressway. The diesel engine generates a low-end torque, making overtaking and laden climbs much easier than expected. Its suspension is also tuned to carry heavy weights without losing its composure. Owing to the length, urban parking somehow felt tight, which forced me to put my unwavering attention to the steering throughout.
