JAC T9 EV makes history as Malaysia’s first EV pickup, earns spot in Malaysia Book of Records

KUALA LUMPUR: The JAC T9 EV has officially etched its name in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) as the first-ever battery-electric 4x4 pickup truck in the country.

While the title sounds like a milestone in Malaysia’s slow transition to electrified commercial vehicles, it also raises questions about how ready the market really is for such a shift.
