The Mazda CX-8 is a genuine family-friendly SUV that carries the brand’s signature finesse in almost every feature or spec. On a recent long haul to Johor, the cabin surprised me with its silence, and the second-row seats kept everyone relaxed and engaged, even during slower stretches. I loved how confidently the diesel torque pulled uphill with a full load, making the journey much smoother than what I was expecting. The interior felt plush, and small details like wide armrests and thoughtful storage spaces made it convenient for family trips. Highway stability was also excellent. However, the third-row seats are a bit cramped up for adults but wonderful for the kids.
