Drives well but is not very reliable
During the first year, the MG 5 performed well, but as it entered the second year, the transmission broke down. I mainly use it for short daily commutes, so I can’t comment on its comfort and ride quality during long drives, but as a daily driver, it seems to be okay. However, my ownership experience has not been trouble-free, as I have been facing constant engine failure problems. I had to take the MG 5 almost six to seven times to the service center for different issues. I like the car but I‘m not ready to face these many issues.
