The 2026 Nissan Serena e-Power continues to gain traction in Malaysia’s MPV segment thanks to its unique hybrid tech. Launched in March 2026, the EV received 1,300 bookings, and the first 250 units were delivered last month alone. It is offered in five variants, namely -the X, X Plus, Highway Star, Premium Highway Star, and the Shiro Highway Star. The main update the car received for the Malaysian market was its powertrain: an HR14DDe 1.4-litre naturally aspirated inline-three petrol engine that solely operates as a generator for the 1.77 kWh lithium-ion battery. Colour options include Turquoise Blue, Brilliant White, Dark Metal Grey, and Diamond Black (monotone).
