KUALA LUMPUR: VinFast VF e34 has been awarded a four-star safety rating by the New Car Assessment Program for South Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP).

    • The EV missed out on a 5-star safety rating, it obtained an accumulated safety score of 78.99 points
    • In adult occupant protection the EV managed to perform well and scored 35.92 points out of 40 points
    • In child occupant protection and motorcyclist safety tests, the VF e34 scored 17.71 points out of 20 points and 12.50 points out of 20 points, respectively
    • In the safety assist category, the car scored 12.86 out of 20 points
