Fuel Prices: RON95, RON97 and Diesel up by 10 sen for October 2015!

Kuala Lumpur: The retail prices for RON95 and RON97 petrol and diesel will increase by 10 sen from today (Thursday), according to industry sources.

Effective July 1, RON95 will be priced at RM2.05 a litre (10 sen up), RON97 at RM2.45 a litre (10 sen up), diesel at RM1.90 per litre (10 sen up) and Euro 5 Diesel at RM2.00 (10 sen up).

Petronas Malaysia Petrol Station Operators president Khairul Annuar Abdul Aziz, in a Bernama report tonight also confirmed the increase.

"The prices at the pumps will be adjusted from 12.01am, on October 1," he said.

Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hasan Malek said no prior notice will be given for new monthly petrol and diesel rates from now on.

In June, Malaysians received advance notice that RON95 petrol and diesel would be priced at RM2.05 a litre in June, up from RM1.95 in May, while the RON97 fuel will cost RM2.35, from RM2.25 in May, from the Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Ministry website.
