GIIAS 2015: Daihatsu FT Concept revealed along FX Concept

Kuala Lumpur: The Japanese car conglomerate, Daihatsu is surely going the SUV path with the launch of its latest FT Concept, which is revealed along its sibling FX Concept at the hot and happening 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). FX concept is Daihatsu's take towards the blooming crossover market, however, FT Concept is a proper muscle SUV with extensive lighting.

The appearance of the car looks futuristic, coated in a Warm Silver Metallic shade, boasting tough and sporty exteriors with a heavily loaded dashboard. The FT concept is anchored over turbine shaped five-spoke 18-inch alloys alloy wheels providing ample of ground clearance. These alloys are thoroughly wrapped around in tyres of 225/55 series tyres. Coming towards the front fascia, the grille comes from outer space with running LED lights and precisely crafted chrome blades.

The FT concept brags a seating capacity of seven people rolling on a 2,685 mm long wheelbase and length of 4,350 mm, width of 1,750 mm and a high stature of 1,690 mm. These dimensions surely give the zeal of a sports SUV, although in a medium size.

The interiors of FT concept is generously loaded with ample of features, like a digital instrument cluster, adjustable leather seats, push-start ignition, and a lot of ambience lighting for an aristocratic feeling. Another addition involves the metal-finished four-spoke steering wheel and centre console fulfilling the hunger of infotainment.
