Mercedes AMG C63 S Coupe fully exposed in leaked images

Kuala Lumpur: The all-new Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 Coupe was ready to make its public debut in less than a month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Zero2Turbo managed to publish some leaked pictures which reveal the front and rear end of the car. The pictures were snapped when this car was on its way to some pre-launch event. Going by the pictures, it would boast of a new body with better proportions.

The new drive contains a sportier-looking front, further characterized by a twin-slat grille, bigger air dams, model-specific bumper and a power dome hood along with fenders embossed with 'V8 Biturbo' emblems. At the back, it is designed with a more detailed rear bumper, a diffuser and a trapezoidal shaped four-pipe exhaust system. Apart from these, some other changes which can be noticed are the mirror caps and wheels wrapped in a glossy black colour. Regarding its dimensions, C63 S seems to have grown in size but Mercedes AMG sources have confirmed that it would be lighter than its predecessor.

Nothing much is revealed regarding the technical specifications of this car, but it is expected to be identical to its four-door counterpart. This would mean that the base model would be powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine that could deliver a maximum power of 469 hp between 5500-6250 rpm and a maximum torque of 650 Nm between 1750 to 4500 rpm. It would also be offered with a more powerful engine that would be capable of generating 503 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Both versions of the C63 Coupe will be packed with an adjustable sport-tuned suspension and upgraded brakes on all four wheels.
