Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG has been revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: The Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG has been revealed in the local showroom in Malaysia. It is manufactured on special order, which adds a rare gem to the brim. First glimpse of the kit was received, which can be obtained by customers as expected.

The weight of this huge behemoth is 2,000 kg and the length of this GL 63 AMG is equivalent to a pick-up truck. It consists of a 5.5 litre twin-turbo V8, which gives an output of 557 hp and 760 Nm of torque, couples with the AMG Speed-shift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission. On record, this can get a century sprint in about 4.9 seconds, and can hit a top speed of 250 km/h.

The exclusive AMG Sports Suspension with Active Curve System has been given to GL 63 that can disconnect stabilizer bars from the front and rear axles, which improve axle roll when it is on rough roads. In the case of normal road is translated to make the handling of car easy, while maintaining the comfort of the passengers. According to Diamler, which is a multinational automobile corporation has stated that the pairing of this GL 63 with the suspension system results in the resemblance as “driving on rails.”

GL 63 has also got the AMG aesthetic treatment, along with the AMG body styling package, it has 21-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with large crimson AMG ventilated and perforated brakes. Talking about the interior, the GL 63 AMG is equipped with the 14-speaker, 1,200 watt Bang and Olufsen BeoSound sound system.

The GL 63 will be offered at a price of RM 1.014 million. The 6% GST, which makes a total of RM 57K is added to the base selling price.
