New MINI standalone showroom opens in Ipoh with charging facilities

KUALA LUMPUR: The authorised dealer of BMW Group in Malaysia, Tian Siang Premium Auto, has opened the doors to a new standalone MINI showroom in Ipoh, Perak. This latest facility is the second of its kind in the country, with the other being located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. 

Specialising exclusively in MINI vehicles, the new dealership aims to deliver an exceptional experience to customers, now enhanced with new EV charging stations to expand access for EV owners in the region. It complements the BMW Group Malaysia’s growing network of EV charging infrastructure, which now comprises over 2,000 charging facilities nationwide.

New MINI Ipoh showroom: Key highlights

• Spanning across 6,500 sq ft, the new MINI dealership incorporates a spacious display area that can showcase up to five display units.
• Adding to customers’ convenience is a Customer Lounge and an Entertainment Zone.
• The customer parking area of the Tian Siang Premium Auto (MINI) showroom is equipped with AC and DC charging facilities, in association with Gentari, representing the dealership’s commitment towards enhancing accessibility to charging infrastructure in the region. 
• There are two 180 kW DC chargers with charging rates starting at RM 1.70 per kWh and two 22 kW AC chargers (free of charge). 
• Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh has a team of 12 staff members ensuring a seamless customer experience.
