Volkswagen Selayang 4S Centre launched in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur: Volkswagen Malaysia recently inaugurated it's all new Volkswagen Selayang 4S centre in the country. The VW owners will now have another choice to take their car to. The 4S moniker means the four services provided by the carmaker, sales, service, spare parts and spray paint.

The all new centre is located at the industrial park situated in Selayang, Batu Caves. This area, in particular, is being operated by the Goh Brothers Motors Sdn Bhd and sprawls over a 55,000 sq ft area with five floors also featuring a mezzanine level reception for the customers and an aesthetic lounge area.

Besides that, the centre boasts 20 workshop bays including the body paint workshop loaded with the finest equipment and equipped completely with diagnostic and specific tools from the company headquarter is Germany.

The company has rolled out approximately RM1.5mil to establish the body and paint workshop, whereas RM 1 million has been spent on the tools from Germany and various equipment required by the workshop.

Armin Keller, MD, Volkswagen Malaysia said, “Our customers are our top priority and investing on infrastructure is one of the ways we can strive to improve our offerings and the overall ownership experience.”

Volkswagen Selayang Centre is company's third center in the country which is also a training centre to train Volkswagen staff. This particular centre will be responsible in serving the Volkswagen customers across Selayang, Batu Caves, Kepong, Jalan Ipoh, Sg Buloh, Rawang and Jinjang areas.

Volkswagen is striving hard to regain its market share in Malaysia and thus the company is working to improve its after sales service. GM and Head of Group Technical Service of the company, Dean Nadar, said the company is completely aware of the problems faced by the customers and they are trying their best to tackle the aftersales services.
