VW Malaysia Introduces a New 3S Center in Sri Hartamas

Kuala Lumpur:  Volkswagen Malaysia and FA Wagen Sdn Bhd have recently introduced a new 3S Centre (sales, service and spare parts), situated at Lot 58464, Jalan Sri Hartamas, 22/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is the latest offering from the German manufacturer to increase its network in the country. In 2015, the company had also launched a 4S center in the country that provides additional benefits of spray paint over 3S network.

The new facility measures 30,670 sq ft and spans over three floors. The latest addition to the VW network is ready to offer a wide range of services which includes general car service, availability of spare of parts, sales, after sales, complete diagnosis and overhauling. The new facility team consists of 15 experienced and certified technicians who manage 8 service bays, ready to provide quality services to the VW owners.

The VW  Sri Hartamas 3S Centre will remain open on weekdays, including public holidays, from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and for after-sales services, it will remain open from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm and  8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays.

In the new VW 3S network, the FA Wagen, part of the Federal Auto Holdings Group, has invested RM5 million for the location and buildup, facilities, service bays along with Volkswagen’s approved diagnostics tools and equipment as well.

Armin Keller, managing director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia stated: “Our customers are our top priority and investing in infrastructure is one of the ways we can strive to improve our offerings and improve the overall ownership experience. Volkswagen Malaysia will continue to focus on improving the overall ownership experience for our customers.”

Commenting on the launch, Cheng Seng Fook, M.D. Of FA Wagen Sdn Bhd said, “We agree that our customers are our top priority and with that in mind and we do see a need for a Volkswagen service center here in Sri Hartamas. We have invested RM5 million into this outlet, but our investment in the Volkswagen brand extends much further.” Volkswagen Sri Hartamas operates from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays for its showroom from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. The after sales division operates from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm and on Saturdays, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

According to the reports, the manufacturers are paying attention to the after-sales services because it is an another source to generate more revenue for the company. As there are a number of 3S and 4S service network are introduced in the country, so, in order to place itself at the top, the leading German brand is under pressure. In order to give world-class services to the customers, VW has taken a smart step towards expanding its 3S network. Along with it, the company has also come up with the unique and pleasant offerings, that hints towards the company’s mindset to regain its market share in the country. Recently, VW Malaysia has announced that they will not increase the prices in the coming future and let's see how this measure can help VW Malaysia in promoting its sales.
