VW Malaysia introduces cost-effective saving offers

KUALA LUMPUR: During these tough times, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has come up with several cost-effective aftersales offers under its Volkswagen Cares initiative. It is a known fact that this German automaker has always prioritised customers welfare and safety, and with its latest cost-effective plans, it will provide owners with an affordable cost of ownership and enhanced ownership experience.

The major inclusions in the Volkswagen Cares initiative are -

• Financial Flexibility with 0% Interest Payment Plan for After-Sales
• 30% Discount for VW Repair Packages
• 20% Service Discount for VW Care Plus Members

Let’s now discuss each of the benefits in detail -

Financial Flexibility with 0% Interest Payment Plan for After Sales, here owners can opt to spread their service and repair bill over six to 12 months at 0% interest. The only prerequisite being the use of a credit card as the mode of payment. This facility is available at selected VW service centres, and therefore owners are advised to the specific T&C with their preferred dealer beforehand.

30% Discount for Volkswagen Repair Packages

With is deal owners can enjoy 30% discount on selected repair packages when the car is sent for repair work at an authorised VW service centre. Note, this offer is applicable on VW models older than 5-years.

20% Service Discount for VCP (Volkswagen Care Plus) Members,

As is clear from the title, the VCP members will enjoy more savings. They will be entitled to three 20% rebate vouchers for maintenance service The said vouchers can be put to use from the 5th year of service and following two services in the period of three years. In addition, owners will enjoy two years of free roadside assistance under VCP.

Volkswagen Insurance Plan

Under the VW Insurance Plan, there is no betterment cost for vehicles up to 10 years of age. The policyholder will get various value-added services and comprehensive coverages without having to pay an extra fee. In event of a total loss, there is an agreed sum and insured value for cars up to 10 years of age. Other benefits include -

• Prioritise claim approval
• Roadside assistance with 24-hours emergency towing
• Windscreen replacement approval within 2 hours
• Assurance of repair work being conducted at an authorised VW body and paint centre
• Use of genuine parts and repair work in accordance with VW standards
