KUALA LUMPUR: Wuling Motors, a joint venture between SAIC Motor, GM and Liuzhou Wuling, is a Chinese automaker that is gearing up to enter the Malaysian market soon. The brand made its first public appearance at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 with the preview of the Bingo EV.     • In terms of design, the Cortez Darion features sleek lines that flow seamlessly from the front to the rear. It comes with Autocomfort Sliding Doors for easy entry and exit and a powered sunroof for a spacious and premium feel.

    • The MPV is based on the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS) platform, supporting ICE, hybrid, and EV systems. It measures 4,910 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, 1,770 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 2,910 mm.
    • Designed to meet the needs of space and comfort while delivering a premium driving experience, the MPV features captain's chairs in the second row, several creature comforts, and Level 2 ADAS safety features.

    • The vehicle supports the WIND (Wuling Indonesian Command) voice control feature that lets drivers interact using Indonesian voice commands. The MyWuling+ app further expands digital connectivity outside the vehicle.
    • The pure EV version is powered by a 150-kW electric motor with a range of up to 540 km (CLTC), supported by CCS2 fast charging that can charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. 
    • The PHEV trim, on the other hand, combines a 1.5-litre Dedicated Hybrid Engine, a 145 kW e-motor and Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, delivering a total combined range of over 1,000 km (125 km in all-electric mode).
