The best PHEV as far for a budget under RM130k
I had the opportunity to test drive the Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV in early January. The driving quality was highly satisfying, and the selectable driving modes are a great touch. The fuel efficiency is at a top-tier level, allowing for a range of up to 1,200 km on a single tank. The features and technology provided are more than sufficient, especially with the inclusion of ADAS 2.5 and other systems. The engine is exceptionally quiet—you can't hear it at all. The CSH (Chery Super Hybrid) technology is truly top-notch. As for the interior, it is very satisfying for a medium-sized family (with 2–3 children), and the cargo space is among the largest in its class, if not the largest. Currently, this remains the most affordable PHEV on the market, provided the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV has not officially released its pricing yet. Regardless, it is the Malaysian people who benefit from these options.
