The 2025 GAC Emkoo Premium Pro gets leatherette seats with contrast stitching and bolstering. The dashboard and armrest areas get soft-touch plastics. Lower areas get hard plastics but the joining is neat. Ventilated front seats and a panoramic roof are optional. The dashboard is dominated by a 10.1-inch multifunction touchscreen, paired with a fully digital driver display (7.0-inch on the entry-level model and 10.25-inch on Premium Pro). The screens are logically laid out, with quick access to navigation, vehicle menus and drive-mode changes. The interface is modern and supports voice assistant features. The infotainment unit is connected to a six-speaker audio system. Automatic climate control is standard with rear air vents for the second row. The car comes with an air quality sensor. The central console gets a large wireless pad and a soft-opening glove box. Rear seats fold 60:40 to expand cargo space.

The 2025 GAC Emkoo measures 4,680 mm in length, 1,901 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height. The car has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. The Emkoo looks almost like a concept-car. It gets a bold V-shaped grille motif. The car comes with all-around LED lighting. The top-level trim gets headlamps prefixed with slim daytime running lights and angular forms that point outward. On the sides, the car gets strong character lines, a relatively high beltline, flush door-handles and blacked-out wheel arches. The top-level Premium Pro model runs on two-tone, 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear accentuates the coupe-inspired or fastback roofline with a spoiler and high taillights. Features include sequential taillights, integrated spoilers, large diffusers, and a powered tailgate in the top model. A panoramic sunroof or large glass roof is part of the package. The car uses black lower-body cladding to highlight the SUV look along with sculpted bodywork. The 2025 GMC Emkoo is available in Graphite Grey, Frost White, Super Star Silver, Star Lake Green and Asphalt Black colour options.

The 2025 GAC Emkoo offers comes with well-cushioned seats. There’s ample legroom in the cabin. But taller passengers on the rear seat may find headroom limited because of the sloping-down roofline. The car is mounted on front McPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension that delivers a smooth ride. Most road imperfections are nicely absorbed. Handling of the 2025 GAC Emkoo is surprisingly good for its class. Body lean is controlled and the steering wheel offers decent feedback. It’s more refined than most tall crossovers. The ride quality leans toward firm. On sharp bumps and poorly maintained roads some of the harder impact are transferred to the cabin.

The 2025 GAC Emkoo is hauled by turbocharged, four-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 177 PS/270 Nm. The engine is mated to 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive. On city roads, the 2025 GAC Emkoo responds briskly in start-stop traffic. The transmission is seamless and the powertrain hardly lags. On highways, flexible torque curve allows the car to maintain strong pace when cruising and overtaking. Mileage is good though not the best in class.

The 2025 GAC Emkoo is equipped with a 360-degree surround-view camera that offer clear visibility during parking and manoeuvring. Multiple ultrasonic sensors help in detecting nearby obstacles. It ensures precise parking assistance and low-speed safety. The car also comes with millimetre-wave radars that support forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. Blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warning systems work seamlessly with radar and camera inputs. The driver attention monitoring and traffic sign recognition add an extra layer of protection. 

The 2025 GAC Emkoo has a starting price of RM 123,800. GAC is a new brand and is yet to establish a countrywide network. After-sales concern remain. But with bold styling, loaded features, and local assembly, the car is aimed at buyers who want strong value, standout looks and up-to-date tech.
