Lamborghini Huracan Evo Interior & Features
The interior cabin of the Lamborghini Huracan EVO hasn’t changed much in all these years, except for the new features which have been added periodically to keep it afresh. The overall layout of the two-seater cabin looks minimalist but has enough tech to make it look like a car from the future.
The entire cabin of the Lamborghini Huracan EVO looks driver-focused, with the driver’s cockpit comprising of a flat-bottom multi-functional steering wheel with big paddle shifters and a large full TFT instrument console behind it. The cabin is a good mix of Alcantara leather and carbon fibre and can be customized for the choice of colours and trims.
The centre console of the Lamborghini Huracan EVO looks fancy with two protruding trapezoidal AC vents and a sloping lower tunnel, the latter of which houses the 8.4-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system. The screen for the infotainment system also has touch-controlled settings of automatic climate control and other driver-oriented features. Just above the screen, there are toggle switches for a host of other controls, while below the screen, there is the massive button for starting and stopping the ignition surrounded by a brushed aluminium finish.
Huracan Evo Exterior
One look at the Lamborghini Huracan EVO, and it’s hard to believe that the design of this supercar is almost seven years ago. In all these years, the Lamborghini Huracan EVO has received minute tweaks on the outside, and this latest EVO version continues the coolness quotient this car had right since its inception.
At the front, the Huracan EVO has a typical Lamborghini look with a sharply raked profile with the windscreen and hood placed at the same angle, which enhances both the stance and aerodynamics of the car. The sharp-looking front profile is well complemented with angular trapezoidal headlamps, which once integrated with sleek-looking double Y-shaped daytime running LEDs and LED projectors within them. The front bumper of the car completes the sharp persona of the front profile with aggressive-looking air dams throughout its width.
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO looks super planted and low, which is felt the most when the car is viewed from the side. The rounded roofline and the massive air ducts placed above and below the rear fenders not only make it look drop-dead gorgeous but also aid in its aerodynamics at high speeds. The extremely low ground clearance and large 20-inch alloy wheels, along with a low roofline, give it a typical sports car appeal.
At the back, the Lamborghini Huracan EVO has a sharply raked rear profile with a windscreen, which has stepped air vents on both of its sides and hides the massive V10 engine beneath it. The sleek-looking Y-themed tail lamps are all LED units and are placed in between the sharp and edgy-looking panels which protrude outwards. The dual rounded exhaust ports are placed quite higher on the boot.
Lamborghini Huracan Evo Ride & Handling
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO gets a suspension combination of fully independent double-wishbone at front and rear. This suspension setup, combined with the Lamborghini dynamic steering with variable steering ratio and all-wheel steering mode, makes the Huracan EVO a hoot to drive. The Lamborghini Huracan EVO comes with carbon-ceramic brakes as standard, which have enough bite to bring this beast to halt in no time.
Huracan Evo Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO is one of the rare supercars in the modern era to get a naturally aspirated petrol engine. The 5.2-litre V10 engine of the Huracan EVO makes 640 bhp of maximum power and 600 Nm of maximum torque. The standard transmission option for this engine is a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Capable of pulling the car from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.9 seconds, the engine gives the Lamborghini Huracan EVO a top speed of 325 kmph.
Lamborghini Huracan Evo Braking & Safety
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO covers the basic grounds when it comes to safety, but skips out on the modern driving assistance systems commonly found in luxury cars now. It gets front, side and knee airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, front and reverse parking sensors, reverse camera and electronic stability control.
Huracan Evo Verdict
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO is not just a car, it is an emotion. An emotion on wheels to enjoy the pure bliss and connection between the engine and the tarmac beneath the car. It has aggression written all over it, making it a true Lamborghini in all sorts.
