Confident ride quality, precise handling
Perodua Alza is one of the finest cars I have ever driven. It can easily carry seven passengers, but if you have a smaller family, in the second row the smaller centre seats can be folded down and it acts as an armrest. This is a boon, especially for longer excursions. Its ride quality is confident and handling is quite good even in crowded areas. However, one major problem is that on the center console, there are no cubby spaces. I’m not sure if this has been done to maintain the interior’s clean modern appearance or oversight during the design process.
