Comfort first, everything else follows
Recently, I took the Proton x90 from Shah Alam to Melaka on a late-evening drive, and the first thing that came into my notice was how clean and fresh the cabin air felt. The panoramic roof fills the entire interior with a soft glow that’s perfect for making long rides peaceful and calm. To my utter surprise, the mild-hybrid system isn’t too aggressive— just enough to assist during overtakes, especially near the rolling stretches at Ayer Keroh. While I was parking at the tight spots near Jonker, the car’s 360-degree camera view was a boon. I appreciated how quiet the entire beast can be, even though the infotainment system inside can be a little slow to respond.
