5 Futuristic Car technologies to Look Out For

Kuala Lumpur: The pace at which technology is changing day by day is unimaginable. To match the steps, technological advancements are taking place in the auto industry as well. These technologies may completely revolutionize the driving experience in coming years. What seemed like sheer fantasy some years back, is turning into reality now. Nowadays, people's choices have shifted from just good looking cars to those cars which have some futuristic gadgets installed in them.

While some technologies provide you convenience while driving, some are designed to keep you safe or deliver comfort. In present scenario, almost all the automakers are trying to integrate their car's cabin with some latest gadgets. Still there are some technologies which remain unexplored but are readily available. We present you a list of 5 such gadgets which you can make yours without shelling out a huge amount of money.

1.Exploride

Exploride is a futuristic 6-inch head up display that recognizes voice and hand gestures. Its transparent display provides all the information like speed and fuel consumption along with access to music, call, text, maps and social media. Further, it is also compatible with both Android and Apple phones with many built-in apps. It is also integrated with GPS, LTE and Google maps that provide navigation facility to the drivers. This gadget comes as a blessing for those car owners who don't have a central display screen in their cars. Priced at $299, its makers have already received 1800 pre-orders from 50 different countries.

2.Iris

Iris is a small display which is installed at the place of sun visors. This position makes it easier to use and keeps your concentration on the road. Iris is controlled by an app which can be installed on your smartphone and further connects through Bluetooth. Apart from navigation, it also provides geolocation information like road signs. Moreover, through its gesture control system you don't even have to touch the screen to operate it.

3. Aeromobil- the flying car

This may sound insane, but yes its true!!! In a fraction of seconds, it transforms from a car to an aeroplane. Known as Aeromobil 3.0, it has been in regular flight-testing program since October 2014. Aeromobil 3.0 uses regular gasoline engine and can fit into any standard parking space. Its body shell, wings and wheels are made from advanced composite material. This two-seater flying car is also integrated with autopilot and advanced parachute deployment system.

4.Carvi

Carvi is a small, easy to install camera technology that makes your ride all the more safe. Once you install Carvi in you car, it would start monitoring the roads. It also analyses your driving habits and issues audible as well as visual warnings accordingly. Installed on the dashboards, Carvi acts as extra eyes on the road and saves you from a collision and other mishaps. Priced at $274, this gadget is already on sale since August 2015.

5.Mifold

Mifold is an advanced, compact and portable booster seat for children. Unlike other booster seats, it is 10 times smaller and easy to use. A regular booster lifts up the child to be in the position of an adult, while Mifold does exactly the opposite and holds the seatbelt down according to child's height. As a result, Mifold holds the seat belts in a correct position to further protect your child.
