Kuala Lumpur: The super-exciting, super-fast 2017 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Spyder has finally arrived in Malaysia and its local official dealer 'Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur' has started taking orders for this super-slim, topless Italian sportscar, with production expected to start in April next year. The Malaysian version of Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Spyder comes with the electrohydraulic folding fabric roof (available in either black, red or the brown colour) that stows and deploys in just 17 seconds, at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Also, the rear windows can be raised or lowered, regardless of the roof position.

Lamborghini Huracan Spyder also features an integrated duct to reduce the cabin turbulence with the top town beside a pair of removable lateral wind guards, which increase the comfort by damping the aerodynamic pulsations to allow 'conversations at high speeds.' The aluminium and carbon fibre hybrid structure under the aluminium and composite skin of Huracan Spyder makes it stronger than the previous generation Gallardo Spyder, with torsional rigidity up by 40%. The Dry weight of the sports car is quoted at 1,542 kg, that is 120 kg heavier than its coupe twin.

The powertrain of 2017 Lamborghini Huracan Spyder remains unchanged with the same 5.2L naturally-aspirated, direct-injected V10 engine that produces 602 hp of power at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The power is delivered to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch transmission allowing the Spyder to make the century sprint in 3.4 seconds before reaching its top speed of 324 km/h.

The exterior of the standard Huracan LP610-4 features LED headlights and taillights, 20-inch Giano wheels and carbon-ceramic disc brakes measuring 380 mm at the front, with six-piston callipers. Inside, there is Lamborghini Infotainment System II, matched to an Audi-style 12.3 inch TFT LCD digital instrument cluster ahead of the driver. The spec magnetorheological damper control and variable-ratio Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) are also available at an additional cost. The price of Malaysian version of 2016 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Spyder starts from RM1.35 million, excluding tax.
