2020 Toyota Supra details are out unofficially
KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota Supra’s official unveil is scheduled to happen early next year at the 2019 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). But according to our sources, the details of the car have seen the surface Internet, courtesy Toyota Germany.

The new 2020 Supra gets a sleek pair of LED headlamps, long contoured hood, and three air intakes lower down the front bumper. The roof gets two bulges, sides are benefitted by skirts and the rear rims with a high-performance braking system. The rear end looks extremely aggressive with central brake light positioning and dual exhaust setup.
Earlier this month, we were treated with the sexy rear end of yellow new Supra that showed inspiration from the Toyota FT-1 quite evidently. Also, there were pictures of the front that leaked online on an auto forum with absolutely zero camouflage.

As far as the drivetrain is concerned, we don’t have anything evident at the moment. But what we are certain about is that the new 2020 Toyota Supra will be powered by an inline-six cylinder engine sourced from the German marque, BMW. This had been earlier confirmed by the chief engineer at Supra, Tetsuya Tada.

Based on the above information, the new 2020 Toyota Supra will pump out a max power of 387.2 PS and a peak torque of 500 Nm, similar to that of the BMW Z4 M40i. This engine configuration allows the Z4 to travel from nought to 100 Kmph in just 4.5 seconds.

We are not very far away from witnessing the official reveal of the new 2020 Supra, which will take place at the 2019 NAIAS starting January 14, so stay tuned with us for more information.
