- Based on BYD’s e-platform 3.0 Evo, the upcoming Seal 07 is a large sedan measuring 4995 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, and 1495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. The curb weight is estimated at 1,940 kg.
Photo from CarNewsChina- In terms of design, the sedan closely resembles the recently introduced Seal 07 DM-i PHEV. Just like other EVs, the front design has a closed profile integrating slim headlights and a trapezoidal lower air intake.
- The rear looks absolutely stunning with a full-width taillight signature paired with a chrome bar. Accentuating the EV’s side profile is a sweeping roofline and flush door handles that add to the aerodynamic efficiency..
- While official details are yet to be confirmed, the BYD Seal 07 will come powered by a rear-wheel drive e-motor generating a maximum power of 322 PS, as per the earlier regulatory filings.
- As for the battery pack, we can expect a 69.07-kWh BYD Blade battery pack, allowing the EV to cruise up to 705 km (CLTC) on a single charge.

Other expected bits are a wireless charging panel, advanced smartphone connectivity, panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable seats, and more.
- In terms of safety, the Seal 07 is likely to come with BYD’s “God’s Eye” B ADAS pack (DiPilot 300), just like the Seal 07 DM-i.
