Have a look at Toyota A90 Supra with Prior Design body kit
KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota A90 Supra has received an interesting body kit by Prior Design tuners to make it look more attractive than the standard model. Its wide body kit concept not only refreshes the design but also help in improving the aerodynamics of the car. Toyota unveiled the A90 Supra only a few days ago at the North American International Auto Show 2019. However, the design of the car was already revealed previously via leaked images.
The fifth-generation A90 Supra is based on the latest BMW Z4 as part of the Toyota-BMW collaboration. Announced back in 2012, the deal was made to develop electric powertrains and lightweight technologies for a futuristic sports car. Speaking about Prior Design’s widebody kit, no official info has not been released yet. However, as per the reports, the styling kit gives a new fascia that features a big intake instead of the three-section approach seen on the standard model.
The body kit adds few inches to the width. There is a vented hood for the BMW’s six-cylinder engine. At the rear, the A90 Supra gets the sizeable wing that boosts up the downforce. Other changes which come along the kit are new wheels and a lowered suspension.
Apart from all this, Toyota has announced that a top-ranging Supra GRMN is in pipeline. The GRMN variant would arrive with a BMW-sourced turbocharged 3-litre straight-six powertrain that churns out 340 PS of maximum power and 500 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the launch edition of the standard Toyota Supra is scheduled to go on sale in the US this summer.
