Kia Cadenza K7 Specifications and Pictures Revealed

Kia Cadenza K7 Specifications and Pictures Revealed

Kuala Lumpur: Kia Motors South Korea has revealed some pictures and specifications of Kia Cadenza K7 on its official website. Currently running in second generation, this car sits one segment above the Kia Optima K5 and one segment below the K900 sedan. Earlier in November 2015 some sketches of Cadenza were revealed, but this lot gives a clearer view of this sedan.

Towards the front fascia, it features the brand's very own tiger nose grille which is curved inwards. One can also notice its new LED headlights with a chrome strip below it that extends to the grille. The rear end is further accentuated by wider tail lights and square twin exhaust pipes. Moreover, Cadenza rides on 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels surrounded by tires measuring 245/40R19. Inside, it gets a wooden trim along with three leather upholstery options. Additional features include a head-up display screen and Premium Sound audio system.

Beneath the hood, it is powered by a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder engine which churns out a maximum power of 187 hp along with a peak torque of 240 Nm. The range topping model would get an option of 3.3-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine with 286 hp and 343 Nm and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 199 hp and 440 Nm.

As specs are already revealed on its official website, a South Korean launch can be expected in near future. Kia Cadenza price in South Korea would start from 30.1 million won (RM106,363) for the base variant. Talking about Malaysia, Kia recently launched its Rio Sedan which hints towards its plans to expand its model lineup. Following Rio, we can also expect Cadenza to get launched in Malaysia. Both the sedans cater to different set of buyers as Rio Sedan costs just RM72,888 which is much cheaper than Cadenza.

Instead she would love to collect those toy cars and would go gaga over them. Dragged into the commerce background earlier, now she has finally found her long lost love with CarBay. With a dream to own an Aston Martin one day, she doesn't get tired researching about other automakers too.
