KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 has begun with all pomp and show at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, introducing us to a range of exciting new cars that may come to the Malaysian shores in the near future. Co-developed by SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei, the TQ Wuling Huajing S is a premium six-seater electrified SUV that made its first official appearance outside China at the KLIMS event.
According to SGMW (SAIC-GM-Wuling), the Huajing S emphasises four core values: intelligence, spaciousness, safety, and comfort. It represents the strategic partnership between SGMW and Huawei on the "Three Smarts" (Intelligent Manufacturing, Assisted Driving, and Intelligent Cockpit).

Dimensions - The electrified SUV measures 5,235 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, and spans a wheelbase of 3,105 mm. These dimensions translate into a spacious cabin, offering generous room for occupants across all three rows. The boot capacity is 423 litres with all seats up.
Drivetrain: Powering the Huajing S is a plug-in hybrid that combines a 1.5 litre turbo four-cylinder engine and a front electric motor or a dual motor AWD setup. The latter generates a maximum power of 525 PS and 620 Nm. Two available LFP battery options - a 31kWh LFP and a 41.9 kWh CATL, offering an electric range of up to 255 km (CLTC). The combined range is estimated at 1,100 km.
The FWD variant of the SUV is claimed to offer a fuel consumption of 5.98 litres per 100km under battery-depleted conditions.
Photo from TQ WulingInterior: The cabin features a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, a minimalist dashboard, and plenty of advanced technologies, thanks to Huawei. A 15.6-inch infotainment unit takes the centre stage with an 8.8-inch instrument display on the side, both powered by HarmonySpace 5. Other features include - 15.6-inch roof monitor, Qi wireless smartphone charger, 15-speaker audio system, dual sunroofs, powered seats with ottoman, heating, ventilation, and massage, and a built-in fridge.
Safety: The SUV is equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS Pro suite of advanced driver-assistance systems that include Limera in-cabin Lidar-vision system, enabling high-performance perception in complex scenarios.
The Huajing S preview at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 reflects TQ Wuling’s long-term vision for Malaysia of offering better mobility and expanding into premium, high-tech vehicles.
