KUALA LUMPUR: Alongside the newly launched X9 electric MPV, Xpeng has also unveiled another exciting model at the 2026 Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show: the next-gen P7. It is an electric sport sedan that features a bold, futuristic aesthetic and cutting-edge technology.

Exterior
Launched in China last year, the new Xpeng P7 features the ‘Xmart Face’ front design with a star-ring horizontal light strip combined with vertical lighting clusters that form an H-shaped signature. The striking tail light also creates the same H design, lending the EV a cohesive and head-turning appearance.
Photo by Adam AubreyThe side profile, featuring a fastback profile, looks ultimately stunning with X-shape rims and hidden door handles, contributing to the aerodynamic efficiency. Notably, the Xpeng P7 has a drag coefficient of 0.201 Cd (better than Mercedes EQS at 0.202).
The Xpeng P7 measures 5017 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1427 mm in height, and spans a wheelbase of 3008 mm.

Notably, the EV comes equipped with three Turing AI chips, two of which support the EV’s advanced driver-assistance systems, while the third works with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor and supports the intelligent cabin functions.
Unfortunately, Xpeng kept the interior of the P7 under wraps during the event.
Drivetrain

The AWD variant delivers a combined output of 594 PS and accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.7 seconds. Battery options include a 74.9-kWh LFP and a 92.2-kWh NCM, offering a range between 702 km and 820 km (CLTC standard).
The Xpeng P7 supports 5C fast-charging, providing up to 525 km of range in just a 10-minute charge.
