Leapmotor A10 (B0X3) Interior revealed – 14.6-inch 2.5K Screen, Lidar, up to 505 km range

KUALA LUMPUR: Leapmotor has released the first official interior images of its upcoming compact SUV, the Leapmotor A10, also known internationally as the B03X. This latest reveal lands while the model is still in its blind pre-order phase, with its market launch targeted for next month.

Inside, the A10 goes for a clean, straight-across dashboard design. A dual-spoke multi-function steering wheel comes standard, and the driver gets an 8.88-inch full LCD instrument cluster. The main centrepiece is a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating infotainment display, positioned as the central control screen for most functions.

Cabin convenience features mentioned so far include ambient lighting, a wireless phone charging pad, and dual cup holders. Leapmotor is also pushing an AI assistant powered by Alibaba’s Qwen, which the company says is meant to make voice interaction feel more natural and less “robotic.”

On the outside, the A10 wears Leapmotor’s “Tech Natural Aesthetics 2.0” design language, with a closed-off grille look up front, polygon-style headlamp clusters, vertical side air ducts, and a trapezoidal lower intake. Along the sides, it uses semi-hidden door handles. Six exterior colours have been listed, Seaweed Green, Acorn Brown, Berry Blue, Tundra Grey, Starlight Silver, and Morgan Pink.

Tech hardware is a big part of the story here. The A10 is said to come with an SA8295 cockpit chip plus an SA8650 assisted driving chip, and it also gets lidar, which points to more advanced driver-assist functionality than what you usually see in cheaper EVs.

In terms of size, the A10 measures 4,270 mm long, 1,810 mm wide, and 1,635 mm tall, riding on a 2,605 mm wheelbase.

Power comes from a single electric motor rated at 90 kW. Two battery options are mentioned, 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh, with CLTC range claims of 403 km and 505 km respectively. Fast charging is supported, with Leapmotor quoting a 30% to 80% top-up in 16 minutes.

Leapmotor has publicly talked about chasing 1 million vehicle sales this year, and the A10 is being positioned as one of the volume plays to help get there.

CarNewsChina has suggested the pricing could be aimed at the same general space as cars like the Geely Geome Xingyuan or BYD Seagull, but with more equipment on paper. The main twist is that the A10 is an SUV-shaped offering, which could matter if it lands in a price band that’s usually dominated by smaller hatchbacks.

As an international model, the A10 is also scheduled to enter Europe in the second half of this year. Whether it becomes a true breakout product will come down to the final pricing, because the spec list is solid, but this segment does not forgive expensive ambition.
