Stellantis-backed Leapmotor has launched the highly anticipated B10 electric SUV in Malaysia to set a new benchmark for accessible innovation and sustainable mobility in the country. Leapmotor Malaysia offers the B10 in two variants - Life and Design, priced as follows -

Notably, the discounted prices are applicable to the first 200 units sold in the country. The warranty package includes - 

• 6-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, whichever comes first (including 4-year/100,000km manufacturer warranty plus an additional 2-year/50,000km full extended warranty)
  
• 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first

Drivetrain, range, and charging

Both variants are equipped with the same high-efficiency rear-wheel electric drive motor system backed with Smart AI monitoring. This intelligent system actively manages operations and promises enhanced stability, safety, battery longevity, and powertrain lifespan, claims the automaker.

The motor is fed by a Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack that utilises advanced thermal management, ensuring consistent performance and extended battery life. The two B10 variants differ in battery capacity; the entry-level Life comes with a 56.2 kWh pack, whereas the Design trim has a bigger 67.1 kWh unit.

In terms of safety, it is one of the highest-rated Battery Electric Vehicles in its class with a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, scoring an impressive 93% for both adult and child protection.

Both variants of the B10 come loaded with several advanced features, including a 14.6-inch infotainment unit with Leap OS 4.0 Plus, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto (to be available through OTA update from January 2026), an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, 360° panoramic camera system, large panoramic roof, and 17 ADAS features with Level 2 autonomous capability.
