Lego launched five new Speed Champions sets

KUALA LUMPUR: Are you a car-keen LEGO fan? If yes, here comes something really exciting for you. Lego has introduced five new Speed Champions sets for 2022. These new sets feature not only one or two new models but seven awesome-looking cars to build. Let's get to know them one by one.

    Lamborghini Countach

    The Lego recreation of the iconic 1970’s Lamborghini Countach is made up of 262 pieces. The pack has everything you need to build a white Lambo, a Lamborghini-branded driver, a crash helmet, a wig as well as a wrench. It comes with a 2-seat open cockpit and measures 4 cm in height, 15 cm in length, and 7 cm in width. You can get this replica model for $19.99 (RM 83.66).

    1970 Ferrari 512 M

    This is a toy recreation of the iconic 1970 Ferrari 512 M that can be created by joining 291 parts. Just like the previous two sets, it also comes with a car, racing driver, wig, and crash helmet and measures the same. It is also priced at $19.99 (RM 83.66).

    Mercedes-AMG 

    This set includes two Lego Mercedes-AMG cars - Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance and Mercedes-AMG Project One. Parts of the kit are 564 car pieces, two drivers, and other goodies such as extra rims. helmets, and more. The toy measures over 4 cm high, 19 cm long, and 7cm wide. Lego retails the whole pack for $29.99 (RM 125.51).

    Aston Martin 

    In the Aston Martin Lego Speed Champions set, you will get two supercars - Valkyrie AMR Pro and Vantage GT3 to be made from 592 pieces. The cars are 4 cm high, 18 cm long, and 7 cm wide.  Available Lego goodies with the pack are 2 driver Minifigures in a racing suit, helmet, wig, and a wrench. The price is $39.99 (RM 167.36).
