Malaysia to get new Honda 2S Pit Stop centres

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia has recently unveiled its 2023 product plan, which includes the launch of several new and updated models, the discontinuation of the 7-seater BR-V, and the company’s strategies for better customer experience and convenience. The latter comprises the expansion of after-sales activities with the launch of new 2S (service and spare parts) Pit Stop centres.

The company delivered a total of 381,490 cars in the past five years and currently has a bunch of backlog orders. Thus, the introduction of the new 2S Pit Stop and mobile service is required to meet the demands of current customers as well as potential customers. 

To make it happen, the automaker will be leveraging its current dealer network and identifying selected areas where easier access is required by customers. The '2S Pit Stop' and mobile service initiatives can be considered as part of the company's continuous efforts to enhance the customer experience. It will offer better accessibility and coverage to those car owners who live far away from Honda service centres. 

However, the company clarified that facilities available at these satellite 2S service centreswill be limited to quick maintenance operations and upkeep of the vehicle. 

Furthermore, Honda Malaysia will also be upgrading its HondaTouch platform, which offers existing Honda owners easy access to a variety of information and services. 

The application allows customers to book a service appointment conveniently with accompanying and useful features such as service history, service booking reminders, and real-time service status tracking. With the help of the Emergency Assistance feature of the mobile app, customers can also request roadside assistance in the event of a breakdown or accident. Not to forget, insurance renewal reminders are also provided by the app.
