Honda Malaysia celebrates 25th Anniversary with a special “Because of You” campaign

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia has completed its 25 years of operation in the country, marking a significant milestone in its journey of delivering reliable, innovative and customer-focused mobility solutions.

To commemorate the quarter century, the company has rolled out a special 25th Anniversary “Because of You” campaign, offering exciting deals to Malaysian customers. Through this programme, the automaker expresses gratitude to Malaysians for being part of its journey. 

Honda 25th Anniversary “Because of You” campaign

Running from 1st October to 31st December 2025, the campaign offers the biggest rewards and lucky draw prizes in its history, worth up to RM 1 million. These include six units of Honda models –

• Honda WR-V RS
• Honda City RS
• Honda City Hatchback RS
• Honda Civic RS
• Honda HR-V (V variant) 
• Honda CR-V e:HEV RS

How to participate: To participate in this exciting lucky draw contest, one needs to test drive or register any Honda model at any authorised Honda dealership nationwide during the campaign period. Notably, each action earns at least one lucky draw entry. That means, the more entries a participant collects, the higher their chances of winning a brand new Honda car.

Winner announcement: Honda Malaysia will announce two lucky winners each month on its official Facebook page and through the dealer network.

Honda Insurance Plus rebates and Honda Certified Used Cars programme

Honda 25th Anniversary “Because of You” campaign also includes Honda Insurance Plus (HiP) rebates and a special trade-in programme, Honda Certified Used Cars (HCUC). The latter makes owning a Honda car easier during the campaign period with more flexible financing options. 

There is also a special after-sales discount of 25% *a on selected parts (including the Belt Alternator, Link Stabilizer, Lower Arm, and Absorber).

Honda Malaysia rewarding programmes 

• Honda Loyalist & Loyalist Plus Programme: It offers up to RM 2,000 cash rebate or service vouchers for existing Honda owners, their family members such as parents, spouse and children, and even Honda motorcycle owners.
• Upgrader Programme: This offers RM 1,500 cash rebate or service vouchers for the City and WR-V to car owners looking to upgrade their Honda car. 

• Government Servant Programme: Appreciating the government’s continuous support, this initiative is exclusive to government servants, offering an additional RM 1,500 cash rebate on the purchase of the City, Civic and the all-new HR-V between 1st October and 31st December 2025. 

Honda Malaysia: Key milestones in local assembly and growth

• Honda began local assembly at the Pegoh Plant in 2003 with the CR-V 
• It pioneered the introduction of hybrid models, starting with the Civic Hybrid in 2004. 
• In 2014, the automaker significantly boosted its manufacturing capability by doubling its annual production capacity to 100,000 units with the opening of its No. 2 line. 
• Honda Malaysia achieved its one millionth sales unit in 2021 and its one-millionth production unit in 2022.
