Mazda CX-9, Pictures leaked ahead of it world debut in Los Angles!

Kuala Lumpur: Mazda CX-9 is all primed to make its world debut at the upcoming 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show next week. However, the pictures of the upcoming SUV from the house of Mazda has already surfaced on the internet giving a sneak peek over the much-anticipated mid-size crossover.

Mazda released an official teaser sketch of the CX-9 last week, which showcased the styling of the car much inspired from Mazda’s Koeru concept previewed at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this year. CX-9 features an aggressive front fascia with a pointed snout having the symbolic multiple blades Mazda grille deeply engrossed in the front bumper.

CX-9 looks more sporty this time owing to its shorter rear overhang and more sloped rear window together with the slim taillights, although its notl too different from the car it is going to replace.

Mazda has been doing quite good on the interiors front, evident from the designs in the CX-3, CX-5 and 6 Sedan. The CX-9 is also added with a lot of evolutionary designs with added premium touches and seating for seven passengers in the three rows of seats. The specific details regarding the powertrain of the upcoming CX-9 is not yet revealed by the company, but it is believed that the all new CX-9 will recieve a turbocharged version of the company’s 2.5-liter inline-four Skyactive engine that can also be observed on the other models of Mazda nameplate.
