Meet the new Bentley Continental GT Convertible

ABU DHABI: Bentley recently introduced the classic, luxurious grand tourer, the Continental GT Convertible. The open-top comes with a 626 bhp and have 900 Nm torque that claims to cover a speed of 0-100kph in only 3.8 seconds. The sporty car can go up to 333 kmph which is mind-blowing.

The mechanism of the car appears to be lighter than its previous model, hence can offer a faster yet smooth drive with the W12 engine. It has a cylinder-deactivation, 48-volt control system, a dual clutch transmission with an eight-speed, and a changeable all-wheel drive.

Coming to the gorgeous interior of the GT Convertible, one can find a screen that can rotate, three-analogue dial, compass, and a chronometer. There is a 2,000 watt Naim stereo, that comes with 18 speakers and an advanced ‘Active Bass Transducers’ in the front seats.

The exterior of the luxury car sports a new Z-fold roof system that comes with a tweed-like finish. It is an admiring improvement that can be raised in just 19 seconds. Seamlessly integrating into the comfortable seats are neck warmer technology that is quieter than the previous model. This time, it has been provided with a better optimizing efficiency for an improved airflow around the adjustable headrest.

Moreover, it claims that the new Convertible is provided with a decreased decibels that is comparatively quieter while on the move. This also makes it a quiet-inside Conti GT than its predecessor.

The price of the Continental GT has not been disclosed yet by Bentley. But a huge sum can be expected for this luxurious model. However, the Bently Coupe Continental GT is already on sale with the price of RM 860,000. Hence a higher price tag could be expected for the Bentley Continental GT Convertible.
