  • Nio EC7

The brand claims the latest EV as the world’s most aerodynamic vehicle in the category beating the Tesla Model X and the all-new Toyota Prius. The EC7 has a drag coefficient of just 0.23 while the Model X and Prius come with 0.25 CD and 0.27 CD ratings, respectively. What makes the Nio EC7 the most aerodynamic is the sloping roofline, long overhangs, and an active adjustable rear wing.

    Nio EC7

Built on Nio’s second-generation platform, the EC7 also boasts tons of advanced components such as an intelligent air suspension and a high-performance drive platform. The latter combines a 300-kW induction motor and a 180-kW permanent magnet motor, which enables the EV to hit the century sprint in just 3.8 seconds.

The Nio EC7 will be offered in three battery packs - 75 kWh, 100 kWh, and 150 kWh. The smaller versions deliver around 490 km of maximum driving range (on the Chinese CLTC test cycle) while the 150 kWh unit to be available at a later date will push the EV’s range to over 940 km.

Dimensionally, the Nio EC7 is 4,968 mm long, 1,974 mm wide, and 1,714 mm tall and spans a wheelbase of 2,960 mm.
