Mini Malaysia Introduced all New 4 years Warranty Program With Unlimited Mileage

Kuala Lumpur: Here is a good news for all the Mini owners in Malaysia!! Mini Malaysia has offered a 4-year warranty program with unlimited mileage and free schedule service program. The service program is valid for all Mini Vehicles which are registered from the 1st of January 2016 onwards. Earlier, the manufacturer has upgraded the warranty program up to three years or 50,000kms with the MINI Service Inclusive FIX package. The new warranty program is not only an extension of the period but also provides free scheduled service and a maintenance program up to 60,000 kms based on the  Mini’s condition Based Service (CBS).  Now, this is the second offering from the BMW group which also handles the Mini brand after the BMW 24 months tyre warranty program.

The new warranty scheme also includes a service vehicle check, engine oil, oil filter, air filters, spark plugs, micro filters and brake fluids. However, the components such as windshield wipers, disc plates, and brake pads are now excluded from the new scheme, as all these components are covered in the previous MINI Service Inclusive FIX package. The new warranty program is appreciating and a smart step from the company, but it still seems less when compared to the BMW 5-year warranty program. Introduced in June 2015, it includes 5-years of unlimited mileage along with free scheduled service and maintenance of up to 100,000 km.

Han Sang Yun, MD, and CEO of BMW Group Malaysia said, “MINI is a very unique and sophisticated brand which pushes the boundaries of excitement in the premium segment. The all-new service and warranty offering from MINI keeps to this promise, exciting our valued customers with best-in-class service for their MINI vehicles,”.

All Mini vehicles registered in December 2015 or before will continue to enjoy the previous warranty program of 3-year/50,000 km MINI Service Inclusive FIX package. However, the manufacturer is providing an option for 2015 Mini customers to upgrade their previous warranty program with the all new 4-year unlimited mileage scheme and get benefitted by the MINI Service Inclusive FIX package.

These offerings and several attractive packages from the company will surely help to make goodwill among its customers and also act as a foundation of trust building among users for the company. In January itself, we saw too many offers provided by the several companies to attract auto aficionados and trying hard to pitch itself well in the heart of auto enthusiasts. Following the same, Mini has taken smart step by offering this program and we are expecting that we will see many other offers too.

Recently, the Mini has revealed its John Cooper Works (JCW) Convertible ahead of its debut at the New York Motor Show 2016. The JCW has already marked its presence and gathered a lot of attention from the four-wheeled machine aficionados in Malaysia. After its official launch, the British marque is expecting to increase its sales figure in the country.
