Mitsubishi Xforce in Malaysia tops 1,000 bookings in a week, early bird deal now extended

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia says it has recorded more than 1,000 bookings for the new Mitsubishi Xforce within a week of opening its pre-launch booking period, ahead of the compact SUV’s official launch that is scheduled for early April.

Following the early response, the company is extending its Early Bird Package to the next 1,000 customers who place a booking before the launch.

Under the extended package, buyers will receive an RM5,000 cash rebate, three times free labour service, and entry into a “Buy 1 Free 1” contest, where eligible customers stand a chance to win another Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate.

On the product side, the Xforce will be offered in two variants, Urban and Ultimate. Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia says tentative pricing starts from *RM110,000 for the Urban and *RM120,000 for the Ultimate, on-the-road without insurance.

Mitsubishi positions the Xforce as a compact SUV aimed at everyday use, while still being set up for varied road conditions. The model has also been recognised with the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024. Feature highlights mentioned include four selectable drive modes, Active Yaw Control (AYC), and 222 mm ground clearance.

Inside, the company points to cabin space and day-to-day convenience, including 8-step reclining rear seats, a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium Audio System, a 12.3-inch Display Audio unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and nanoe X dual-zone air-conditioning.

Other equipment listed includes a power tailgate with kick motion, Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing (ADAS), 23 storage compartments including a centre cooler box, and an all-round monitor with parking sensors.
