Both variants share the same mechanical base. Under the bonnet sits a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired to a CVT automatic transmission, producing 105 PS and 141 Nm.
The focus here according to Mitsubishi is refinement and urban drivability rather than outright performance. All versions ride on 18-inch alloy wheels and carry an ASEAN NCAP five-star safety rating.
Standard safety hardware across the range includes an electric parking brake with brake hold, active yaw control, hill start assist and speed-sensing door locks. Practical equipment such as rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, and an all-round monitor camera system are fitted to both variants.

It comes with an 8-inch infotainment display supporting wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a 4.2-inch high-contrast TFT driver meter. Dual-zone air conditioning with knee vents is standard, helping airflow reach rear passengers more effectively in hot climates.
Audio is handled by an eight-speaker system with tweeters, and Mitsubishi includes a built-in front DVR camera as standard. The dashboard uses a black soft-pad finish, and convenience touches include a manually adjustable driver and front passenger seat, an eight-step reclining rear seat, a centre armrest with cooling function and generous cabin storage.

The Ultimate variant builds on this foundation with a more premium tech package. The infotainment screen grows to a 12.3-inch unit and adds wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with an 8-inch fully digital driver display. A highlight is the Yamaha Premium Dynamic Sound system with eight speakers, tuned specifically for the Xforce cabin for a more immersive audio experience.

The interior theme switches to a white mélange weave fabric with mocha accent dashboard trim, giving the Ultimate a noticeably brighter and more upscale appearance.

The biggest separation between variants comes in advanced safety. The Ultimate upgrades to six airbags including curtain protection and adds a full suite of driver assistance systems.
These include adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, lane centering assist, automatic high beam and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Ultimate also introduces selectable drive modes, Normal, Wet, Gravel and Mud, allowing the traction system and stability control to adapt to varying surfaces and weather conditions.

Taken together, the Urban is positioned as a strong value entry point, offering a comprehensive safety package and modern infotainment without feeling stripped.
The Ultimate, meanwhile, pushes the Xforce into near-premium territory with a larger digital interface, Yamaha-tuned audio, added comfort features and a full ADAS suite.
Full Malaysian specifications and confirmed pricing will be announced closer to launch.
