Mitsubishi Xforce on its way to Malaysia, ROI now opens

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi is geared up to introduce its new compact SUV, the Xforce, in the Malaysian market. Mitsubishi Motor Malaysia (MMM), the local official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles, has officially released the teaser images of the SUV and started accepting its registrations of interest, with bookings set to commence next month.

Globally revealed in 2023, the Xforce is a B-segment SUV designed to deliver smart, practical value tailored to the needs of modern-day consumers. It is guided by the product tagline “Exceed Xpectations” and offers stylish design, comfort, superior handling, and fuel efficiency, making it a compelling choice for modern lifestyles. Testimony to its distinctive styling and contemporary appeal is the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 that the SUV won in the Product Design discipline.

Mitsubishi Xforce nationwide tour 

To build excitement ahead of the launch, Mitsubishi has officially announced a nationwide roving truck tour, starting from 16 January 2026. This showcase will offer a closer look at the upcoming SUV, providing insights into its features, and allow for on-site registration.

The Mitsubishi Xforce nationwide tour will cover the following regions and locations across Malaysia -

Mitsubishi Xforce: What to expect?

• Size-wise, the Xforce is 4,390 mm long, 1,810 mm wide, and 1,660 mm tall and spans a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. It boasts the best-in-class turning radius of 5.2 metres.
• The SUV features a new Dynamic Shield face with front and rear lights featuring T-shaped signatures and 18-inch alloys. 
• Under the bonnet, we can expect a 1.5-litre engine generating a maximum power of 105 hp and a peak torque of 141 Nm. 

• The interior is likely to come equipped with an 8.0-inch instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch central monolithic display, a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium sound system, and a comprehensive array of advanced driver assistance systems.
• The Xforce will square up against established players like the Proton X50, Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross in Malaysia.
