Mitsubishi Xforce Roving Cloud campaign starts October 16, with test drives and photo contest

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is taking the Xforce around the Klang Valley with a travelling rain-cloud display, selected test-drive sessions and a social media contest offering prizes worth up to RM10,000 in total.

Called the Mitsubishi Xforce Roving Cloud Campaign, the roadshow runs from 16 October to 29 November 2026, with stops in areas including Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Mont Kiara, Bukit Jalil and Cheras.

The display features a working water-drop mechanism to draw attention to the Xforce’s wet-weather driving features. Visitors can get a closer look at the SUV, while test drives will be available during selected sessions.

MMM is using the campaign to highlight the Xforce’s Wet Mode and Active Yaw Control, which it says work together to help drivers feel more confident on wet roads. The company also describes Wet Mode as a first-in-class feature.

The rain-cloud display is the campaign’s main attraction, although MMM has not specified whether the available test drives will include a controlled demonstration of these systems.

The published schedule covers Friday-to-Sunday stops across six weekends. No stops are listed for 6–8 November.

Snap & Win contest: how to enter

Alongside the roadshow, MMM is running the Xforce Roving Cloud: Snap & Win Contest on Instagram and Facebook.

To enter, participants need to:

• Take a photo with the Xforce Roving Cloud.

• Post it on Instagram Stories or Facebook Stories with #XforceRovingCloud.

• Tag and follow Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s official account on the relevant platform.

The contest is split into two rounds, with separate winner announcement dates.

There will be 20 winning entries, with prizes worth up to RM10,000 collectively. The prize selection includes camping storage boxes, cooler boxes, camping wagons, Poler utility chairs, inflatable camping beds and RM50 Touch ’n Go pins.

While the final roadshow stop is scheduled for 29 November, the second contest round remains open until 30 November 2026.
