New Chery centre opens in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah; 40th in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Chery made a grand comeback to Malaysia with the launch of the highly-anticipated Omoda 5 and Tigoo 8 Pro last year in July. Since then, the automaker has been spreading its reach across the country by establishing new dealerships. Adding to its achievements, Chery recently introduced its first EV in Malaysia, the Omoda E5, earlier this month.

 

Now, the local arm of this Chinese brand is once again in the limelight as it marks the inauguration of its 40th dealership in the country. The new Chery showroom and service centre is located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and is owned and operated by dealer-partner Universal Chery Sdn Bhd.

The key highlights of Chery Kota Kinabalu are

• Spanned across 1,400 square metres, the new Chery 3S centre offers customers a comprehensive experience in vehicle viewing, customer service, and maintenance
• The outlet displays the complete Chery lineup and houses a service centre, a workshop, and a customer lounge
• The service centre is equipped with 8 service bays operated by skilled Chery technicians, capable of servicing a maximum of 830 vehicles per month

Starting from March 22, you can also discover Chery's complete lineup, including the newly launched Omoda E5 at Chery Kota Kinabalu centre.

Upon launching the new dealership, Chery Malaysia Vice President Lee Wen Hsiang said, "We are thrilled to establish our presence here in Sabah, thus expanding our network further across Malaysia, providing more Malaysians with the opportunity to own our range of Vehicles.”
