Perodua Launches Tweckbot service ahead of Deepavali celebration

Kuala Lumpur: Perodua has a good news for it's customers ahead of the Deepavali celebration this year. The national carmaker will be providing a free 50-point safety check to assist Perodua vehicle owners during this upcoming Deepavali festive season. This free check-up will be conducted at the Aeon Rawang shopping mall between November 6 and 8, ahead of the Deepavali holiday on November 10.

The Tweckbot is modified to reach out more and more customers, the company revised it before the Chinese New Year this year. As a part of the current programme, customers will get to meet the Tweckbot team at certain locations so that more and more owners get benefitted by the programme.

The company earlier used social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook to attract more and more customers towards its safety check program. The Perodua owner will be alerted about the Tweckbot locations through advertisements in local papers, Twitter and Facebook.

Perodua President & CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said, “It is hoped that we will be able to reach out to more customers during this season than we did last year – because here at Perodua ‘You Matter Most’.” He further added that, “This year’s Chinese New Year and Hari Raya, Tweckbot attracted nearly 1,250 Perodua owners.”

The Tweckbot team will only conduct an inspection of the vehicle and provide advice to the owner on whether or not the vehicle needs to be serviced or is due for repairs.

Under the Tweckbot program, the company will offer a 50-point safety check that includes an engine check, transmission check, coolant system, clutch system check, tyre check, suspension system check, electrical system check (including battery, lights and wiper checks), brake system check (including brake fluid and brake pad wear), power steering system check and engine diagnosis. Apart from it a 20 % discount for parts and accessories will be given to all Perodua service branch authorised vehicles.
