Proton to celebrate Chinese New Year With Safety Promotion

Kuala Lumpur: Proton has come up with a unique way to celebrate the upcoming festival of Chinese New Year. The national carmaker has coupled the upcoming season of CNY celebrations with its 'Safe Festive Journey'. As a part of which, the wholly owned subsidiary of Proton Edar is offering various lucrative after-sales service packages.

2016-CNY-Campaign

Proton is not the only brand to come forward with a sales initiative over Chinese New Year celebrations. ETCM, the official distributor of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia has also started a 'Drive to Prosperity' campaign as a part of CNY celebration. The Japanese carmaker will be giving out SHARP's home and electrical appliances valued more than Rm128,888 to lucky winners.

The promotional campaign by Proton is on-going and will continue till 31st March 2016 across all Proton service outlets nationwide. Therefore, it usually advised to all the Proton owners across that country to avail this unique service maintenance offer before heading out for a long journey during this festive season. Even if you fail to go for a car check up before the journey, you can take your vehicle to the balik kampung locations after you arrive at your destination.

Proton is encouraging its customers to come to the service outlet for a complete check up of their vehicle before the long journeys. The company is offering a 30-point inspection including brakes inspection, the timing of the belts, silicone wipers, clutch functioning, batteries and absorbers. Apart from the 30 point inspection, customers can also avail discounts up to 20% on selected parts for their cars.

The major aim behind Proton's 'Safe Festive Journey' promotional campaign is to increase safety awareness among the Malaysian motorists. The company wants their customers to know their cars and keep them up to date with the car maintenance.

His childhood craving for the cars started with Hot wheels toys which led him to create pseudo cars on his own. When people loved playing outdoor sports, Sanchit was stuck to his racing video games hidden in a closet. The torque of his creative writing coupled with his passion for moving machines pushed him into Carbay's garage. Sanchit also wonders's, why is he writing this as a third person.
