Qoros 5 SUV Unveiled at 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show: Price Starts from RM100K

Kuala Lumpur: The Chinese-built Qoros 5 SUV was recently unveiled at 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show. While the SUV will not go on sale in China until first quarter of 2016, the pre-sales have already started with the prices ranging between 150,000 yuan to 220,000 yuan or RM100,795 to RM147,845. With a ground clearance of 180mm and the 'Qoros Power System Protection' protecting the powertrain and giving the stability under extreme conditions, the SUV can tackle the most types of terrains.

Qoros 5 SUV - Interior

The interior of the SUV is pretty similar to that on the Qoros 3 City SUV. However, the trim on the Qoros 3 City SUV, which runs across the dashboard and through AC vents, now stops before the instrument cluster. The hand-operated handbrake has been replaced by an electronic one. The automaker claims that NVH levels in the SUV are five times better than the national standard.

The safety features of the SUV include the latest Qoros Advance Dynamics Control System (QADCS) which comes with a range of active safety systems like ABS, EBD, BA, stability control, traction control and Cornering Brake Control.

Qoros 5 SUV is powered by a revised Euro 6-compliant 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 154 hp or power and 230 Nm of torque, sent through a six-speed dry dual-clutch automatic transmission.
