While the details on the new MG Cyber X are scarce at the moment, here’s what we know so far -
Platform
As reported by Autocar, the MG Cyber X will be based on the parent company SAIC’s new E3 electric platform, touted as the “first fully electric, system-level architecture”.
This latest architecture can support a wide range of vehicles, including hatchbacks, SUVs, and sports cars, with the flexibility to accommodate several drivetrain configurations. Notably, the Cyber X will be among the first MG vehicles to get this new architecture.

Described as a “groundbreaking innovation” in MG’s history, the Cyber X features a modern “boxy” silhouette with rounded edges. It exudes a sleek, tech-forward look that blends rugged aesthetics with urban sophistication.
Key highlights include -
- Pop-up headlamps
- Full-width LED light bars at the front and rear
- Illuminated MG badges
- Hidden door handles
- Roof rails
