Spied: Honda Brio and Mobilio

Kuala Lumpur: A prototype Honda Brio and Mobilio have been spotted on the roads of Malaysia this morning at the Sungai Buloh R&R area. Both the cars by Honda have been seen together, as per received information.

After looking at the pictures, speculations are made in the air about two Honda's foresee launch in Malaysia. Unfortunately, the official launch of the two vehicles are still far off, although, Brio has been around for some time in Thailand and Malaysia. It is still hard to make Brio and Mobilio's presence in Malaysian market due to their high market prices with a foreign badge, in comparison to the rock-bottom priced Perodua's.

The trade plate number used in the testing was also earlier used on a pre-production Proton test, tagged as B2640A. If truth be told, Proton has been caught testing a Brio before as well, with the same white unit.

Making a wide prospect on the topic, we made a better guess on why Proton is testing Brio now. As a result of which, we concluded, Proton is currently working with Suzuki and their first possible joint venture would be a compact car. An allusion to which, Honda Brio might fall in the line-up.

Now, a question may arise for Mobilio when Suzuki has Ertiga in the queue for same MPV segment. But, the Brio and Mobilio shares the same platform that bring the two Honda's in focus to Proton testing.
