Suzuki Fronx Hybrid bookings open in Malaysia; launch soon
KUALA LUMPUR: After teasing the model in August, Suzuki Cars Malaysia has now started accepting orders for its upcoming SUV, the Fronx. The automaker made the announcement through a social media post earlier today, which also revealed that the SUV will feature a hybrid drivetrain.

The mild hybrid drivetrain combines a 1.5-litre four-cylinder K15C Dual Jet engine with SHVS mild hybrid and produces a maximum power of 101 PS and a peak torque of 135 Nm. It is expected to be combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The engine delivers high fuel efficiency, low emissions, strong output and a torquey performance, claims Suzuki.
Strong safety net
The SUV comes packed with six airbags and the Suzuki Safety Support ADAS package, which comprises adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, weaving alert, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, high beam assist, and a collision-mitigating braking system.
As for the Suzuki Fronx pricing, we can refer to the Indonesian market, where the SUV costs between IDR 259 million (RM 67,265) and IDR 321.9 million (RM 83,601).
